Roytje (Jan 31, 2010)
This is wonderful. The blue light in front of her is well done.
Flubbles (Feb 1, 2010)

*shrugs* Random spur, I guess.
Bubblicious (Jan 27, 2010)
It's a good picture, I like it. I don't know though, there's something about her neck I don't like.... :/ I think it's because it's thicker than I would draw, still, it's very good. I'm particularly drawn to the hand. :)
firecracker (Jan 27, 2010)
Great pic!! I like the colors, and I particularly like her hair and that cool looking mask.....:)
TumblingUpwards (Jan 27, 2010)
In looking back in your history of drawings I'd say you've come a long way in your style. I'm really liking the eyes and the glitz, very nice.
assha-rei (Jan 27, 2010)
I'm loving this pic, especially the way all the small parts come together. The obscure mass at the bottom bothers me a bit, but I love everything else--especially the eyelashes, texture of the hair, hand and headdress~ Overall an absolutely gorgeous draw. Good job, Divine (: |

What tool did you use to do his fur.....it's so awesome. Did you use the air brush tool or the pen? I draw in chibi, but I never use air brush.....I only draw with the pen tool. I don't know why I do that....but that's what I've been drawing with..."lol". I don't know how to draw fur that would look as awesome as this.
miha_clau (Jan 25, 2010)
his eyes are so cute:)
TumblingUpwards (Jan 25, 2010)
I used a combination of pen and air brush, I've used air brush on most of my art I do in the digital world so its what I'm accustomed to. It gives me a soft but adjustable flow that I like and then fill in with pen for the harder crisper lines like whiskers and lashes as you can see I forgot on this one because my dog is quite active and most of the time her whiskers are broken off.BMW, I could do a cat if you'd like but with work I don't have much time to be here, this has been interesting, working on a 400x400 screen isn't easy either.
Suntan (edited Mar 22, 2010)
This is unbelievable and completely lovable in every single way. :) |

You re invited to steal this picture, copy it,and put it up wherever you like.Pass it on.Sorry the art and caligraphy is so bad.The message is the medium,in this case.I was just discussing on businessweek, and the professor was so puzzled, why American culture is so lousy, deteriorated, and now art, music, education is now kaput in the culture, and in school systems..Big mystery.Answer is:It was sold out.Investigate the Ancient Roman empire, they did exactly the same thing.Materialism, and power, money, stuff, was more greatly prized than anything else.It always eliminates any other values. So,"Girls Gone Wild,"cause it made the company-inventor very rich,is seen as "pillar of the business community,"instead of a lousy pornographer. NOW,if he had done the same thing, and not made any money off it,or been very small time,THEN he would have been called scum. Howev er,since "Girls Gone Wild" make him a zillionaire, the Stock Market salutes him as a successful entrepeneur. WE women,on the other hand, know he is yer basic pimp.Just a very successful one.

The stigma of being poor in America is worse then the actual going without. I get it!
Bubblicious (Jan 20, 2010)
I wonder what happens when you have morals and you are poor... Hmm....
dorothyblueeyes (Jan 21, 2010)
Good question,Bubbilicious;there are poor religious people, who try very hard to hang onto their morals, but what happens a lot,is,that morals are luxury of the middleclass, not the poor.Remember "My Fair Lady"?Eliza's(the flower girl, who was transformed)dad, who was low class British, never married her mom. Now,when he ended up inheriting money, because he had become middleclass, and "decent",he had to marry her mom, finally. Why?Because once you have money, and are middleclass, respectable, you are forced to have morals.(??)--by society.Poor people do not have to get married, ect.,can drink, like he did,and in general not have a good reputation.Neither, apparentally,do the rich.(Notice how movies stars, celebrities, often do not get married, they just have kids.) The rich,he sings, can play around as much as they like; But the middleclass, have to be respectable, forced by society to be that way.The very poor, cannot afford morals, they have to do whatever they can,to survive.(very often true.)The rich are too well off, society cannot touch them. But the middleclass are in the crunch;THEY ARE THE ONES,who, when they lose respectibility, get tilted socially, economically, down. They are not rich enough to be loose. But bad morals from them, can economically, socially ruin them. The other 2 classes can do what they like(as pointed out in "My Fair Lady")But Eliza's dad sings mornfully, that since he has money,NOW he's forced to be moral. Ha ha. hope that answers yer question slightly.(Yes,there are moral poor people, but not as often in the modern world. They get temptations, squeezed,no money in tight places, and their young abandon morals at not helping them at all,in the world. )It's not fun,or happy,to be poor in a world of fancy Nike,Adidas sneakers, gold chains, hip purses, status items, and great technology. It may be worse for poor people now, than before.) |

Yes, and Oxfam is a great organization for helping in natural disasters and should be commended for all of the work they do (on a daily basis and when disasters strike). My point is that, once again, America also stepped up to the plate, without having to be asked, and is also helping - both the government and private organizations and private citizens. Yet after all of the help is rendered, everyone goes back to criticizing America.I feel like I have 1 degree of separation from the Haiti disaster because my art instructor does missionary work in Haiti and supports one of the orphanages there. He shows us all of his photos that he takes when he goes there, and he has brought some of the orphans to visit our art class, and we have met them. He had the class paint pictures from his photos and auctioned them to raise money for the orphanage. The orphanage was spared destruction, but unfortunately, one of the orphans was killed in the earthquake. He gets daily emails from the orphanage and shares these with us, they are rationing food and water and need help. Ted Turner had his private plane fly in food and water for them. A lot of people are doing whatever they can to help.
