Oh, yeah, I took what KO and Kazukie commented on on that little sprite portrait, and considered redoing the thingies in this pic.
So, now, Kaien's head is more centered and his eyes aren't so... Crooked, I suppose...

Yaaay I was listened too! *Beams* This is a lot better too! Hey having the eyes a little crooked gives them all character! And it's original but the neck thing was really irritating me! >.< I LOVE THE LITTLE CRAB! =3

The crab was my idea. I saw a commercial for Red Lobster, and thought, "What a great idea!"
After a few minutes, I thought "Ah, screw it, crabs are easier."
So the crab was partially inspired by Red Lobster. -_-

My game involves much time travel and history recalling.
This is Kaien in the past. He was very powerful, but had little circles all over him.
So, this is Ancient Kaieneryu. -___-

His eyes and head are supposed to be like that. He has a very long face...

looks like he's all cut up O.o and what size should i draw the face at? was it 50x50?

50X50 is the best way, since it doesn't have to shrink much to adjust.
45x45 is too small though. So go with 50x50.

To Furyofroy:
If yousearch (preferably Google) for RPGMaker2000 Download, you should find it. But you also need the RTP (runtime Package) that is usually downloadable on that same page.
Both files are about 16 MegaBytes when combined. O___O
And there is an add-on RTP that has lotsa more sprites and other goodies.

And PaintBBS is the only thing that can achieve good facesets from scratch, without having to reset the color mode making the pic all contrasty and evil. (Paint is just too primitive. [Windows Paint])

Yesh, he's in the RPG. ^_^ Had to put him there, he hasn't been given much attention lately, and was once almost forgotten, so I made a tribute to him that way.
He's my Ice/Water elemental with biiiiig swords.

So I drew Scarlett.
And used the blur like I used to. But also uised thicker lines.

Bleh. My first time using OekakiBBS and also a first at the little tones, too.
Also a first try at completely black and white, and first at a slight Manga style.
Very firsty. And with all the firsts (Is that a word?) it isn't very good, as well.
Oh well. Good to try new things. especially when my modem got fixed by yours truly.
I zapped myself. Bleargh.
