Acrylic Paintings
Kasha (Sep 23, 2004)
Alright, I've been having these tubes of acrylics lying in my room for about 5 months and I only used them 2 or 3 times and had a bad experience (okay, not that bad..but not as good as I hoped). I've tried to get really nicely blended areas but I find it hard. Maybe I need to find some really good paint brushes or whatever. Is there any way to dilute it to make it come out less thick? I know with oil paints you use lindseed oil...I don't think I can use that with acrylics. Anyways, I just want t...

nice job on the lighting. the proportions are right on the spot as well.
Aubrey (Sep 22, 2004)
That's a great angle.. I'm so happy someone finally killed that bionic mutated alien killer spider that haunted our every dream. Was really well drawn though.
Ty854 (Sep 23, 2004)
Damn, this is really cool. And it hardly took you any time.
brainspiller83 (Sep 23, 2004)

I hated the background, but I couldn't revise it until I got some extra space from a moderator. I didn't do anything but change the color and erase one line and I think it improved vastly.
Aubrey (Sep 23, 2004)
Me too, it looks even better now. Didn't even notice how many white dots there were before, it really brings all the action forward having the background dark.

Digital Artists.
Fin_beast (edited Sep 20, 2004)
I've been trying to find digital artist for my art work for a few hours now and I can't seem to find anything. I just want... an artist who does digital art like we do here. But he/she has to be well established and well... known to the world. Anyone know where there is say... an archive of artists who paint and draw with a graphics tablet? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

ROFL quintessence, you are hilarious, and so right.
kejoco (Sep 20, 2004)
The rating was more or less satirical in nature...
Aubrey (Sep 20, 2004)
Artistic nudity is fine. There isn't anything wrong with showing the human body. Tis a beautiful thing it tis, in every form. Only the mind and true nature of the person dwelling within it can take away from the overall beauty. A beautiful body doesn't make you a beautiful person. I know quite a few beautiful people you'd never see on a glamour magazine, and then again some ya just might. People shouldn't be offended by a naked body. Everyone has one. It's just the cover of a book, if you haven't read it.. you shouldn't judge it.
Anyhoo, in effort not to ramble on any longer lol... This is a good picture Kejoco. You worked out the proportions really well.

emmamommalag (Sep 19, 2004)
Very nice seahorse, Cindy... lots of detail and I like the colors you used. Yeah, Lori.. I was beginning to worry, too. You know what they say. I bet that new puppy finds cowboy boots quite appealing.. how many has he chewed up so far?
Axil62 (Sep 20, 2004)
This is dream like. Absolutely beautiful.

And someone saved my life tonight sugar bear
You almost had your hooks in me didn’t you dear
You nearly had me roped and tied
Altar-bound, hypnotized
Sweet freedom whispered in my ear
You’re a butterfly
And butterflies are free to fly
Fly away, high away, bye bye

"Rain drops keep falling on my head. That doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red, crying's not for me. I'm never going to stop the rain by complaining. So now I'm free. Nothings worrying me."
This whole entry is brilliant. The picture, the idea behind it. Juuuust brill.

"And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but, now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world."

Er, yes. Fantastic drawing, I love the lighting.

This is exactly how I would have painted this in oils on canvas. Matter of fact, I am going to do this in oils.

How neat. This'll be an awesome oil painting for your wall for sure! It's soft but not soft at the same time. Soft in all the right places I suppose would better explain it.
Sutafani (Sep 19, 2004)
that looks like something my mother would do, only my horse Truck would be tied to the post.
