Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.

Gibson anyone? Or do you prefer a Martini?
Gigandas (edited Jan 3, 2005)
This is pretty neat.It's like you're kinda looking at this realism combined with some abstract painting behind it, but only because the texture of the wall send you that vibe.I haven't bothered to go through everyone's comments, but I just wanna point out what an awesome job you did on that chair there.Very 3-dimensional.
sincity (Jan 3, 2005)
Martini please, shaken. I love it, it reminds me of al those mediterranian pics you see. I had about 3 different ones and they al had this blue, blue door in them, with the ocean in the background. This is just a fantastic piece. :}
Aubrey (Jan 10, 2005)
That is just too beautiful. You really did an excellent job on everything in this Cindy.

Wow. Wow. I want to be you.
emmamommalag (Dec 29, 2004)
You certainly are good at it! This is wonderful, especially those eyes.
Xodiak (Dec 29, 2004)
Javier's paintings are always so alive... This one has strong realism elements and it is painted in an awesome way. The light from a door opening reflecting on his face is a great effect. Fantastic! >:D

This is great! I don't see why you say you're bad at realism, this looks very realistic to me.

Had this Idea in my head right after I did the collab with Hunter Killer. Didn't come out exactly the way I wanted. May do a different version later. :}

The eyes are kinda scary but the boney-fleshy look is neat. Good job Mike :) And keep up with the oil of Olay, it's doing wonders for your complexion! lol

laurael (edited Dec 28, 2004)
You are one sweet common tater...I sure have missed you!
edit: Thanks, Sin...gee...I've always wanted to say that. :)
Aubrey (Dec 29, 2004)
You're the master of all turtley things Laurael, and if ya didn't draw them we'd never see another one again probably lol Or at least for a long while, it's refreshing to see your turtles in the mix of things :)
Gigandas (Jan 3, 2005)
Pshhhh....you have nothing to be sorry for....especially not for drawing another turtle :).I'm sure more people get tired of my non-modified referenced pics than your creative turtles.So is he pondering how he's gonna steal the pizza from the rest of the turtles tonight or something ;)?Hehe, love that "lost in thought" expression you caught here so well.

I'd love to have a painting like this
davincipoppalag (Dec 27, 2004)
This is really a good one Dire! The way you colored it makes it look like it was stained by something. Very creative picture.
The_Chosen (Dec 28, 2004)
WOW I love this. The colors are amazing
Aubrey (Dec 29, 2004)

i painted my mom a picture of me and my brother from when we were kids. i hope she likes it. anyone else use art as an excuse to be a cheapass around the holidays?

p.s. sorry for spamming like a mofo.

Creating something of your own is certainly a better present than something you buy from a store. Hehe, very nice drawing! The tree and the colours look very nice. So, will you marry a girl soon? >;D

Sometimes the simplest things in life mean the most to someone. This is a really good picture and anyone lucky enough to get your art for christmas is damn lucky.
