IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Since there are still some unfinished pieces I'm not going to judge the contest today. I'm going to extend it to one more day so those who can may finiahs their pices. If however by Monday the pieces aren't finished they won't be judged. I hope people take the opportunity to finish their entries. I'll have Shanghai start his contest today so he won't lose a day.

Contest Week 72: Dragons
Shanghai (edited Mar 2, 2008)
Contest Week 72: Dragons closed for judging Cultures all over the world have legends about dragons. They appear in Europe, the Middle East, China, Japan, etc. There's also many ways they've been depicted. The term Drakon from ancient Greek meant a huge serpent, and various other cultures have both serpent-like and even feathered dragons. Chinese dragons fly by magic, not with wings, and are composed of many animal parts; horns of a deer, head of a camel, neck of a snake, carp's ...

Haha! This is so cool.

Congratulations jpjp1052, Out to lunch is awarded 1st place in Contest Week 71: Computer Wallpaper

It seems a simple piece, but looking at everything together it could be something you'd find on a Wallpaper site. The colors are easy for the eyes and the icons on a desktop wouldn't cover up the memo. Adding the Windows Logo at the bottom gives it a nice touch. And that tape is as clear a celophane. Not only is this a private user friendly wallpaper, but it'd work well in an office setting too.
Miss_DJ (Feb 21, 2008)
I have this as my wallpaper at work and home. It's terrific. Congrats!

This is a fantastic entry kayos. That fiery glow makes it
PS (Feb 5, 2008)
I like how it turned out too, especially the background. I think it would be a bit better if you cleaned up the robot though, the sketchy lines are kind of distracting.
