"Mr. Dynamite"

They call me Mr. Dynamite
I blow things up in black and white
An end to your charade
A button I have made must be pushed

There is no reason for the sky
When I'm on fire with your lies
So if I can win this fight
Then call me Mr. Dynamite

So here we stand
Both you and I
We're face to face
But eye to eye?
Tomorrow you may change
And I would be betrayed, my friend...

Oh mommy mommy mommy
Do you remember Mr. Dynamite?
You know that guy from down the block
He blew things up in black and white

Yesterday he changed
Today he is betrayed
In the street
On the ground
The neighbors gather 'round

Poor Mr. Dynamite

Tha classical murder scene of Julius Caesar in William Shakespeare's drama. Oh yeah, Caesar he was killed in real life to, but whatever.

Anyway, I'm back from Cancun. Yay!

Funny Fact: I wanted the theme of my contest entry to be a literature character, my options were the masked dead from Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The mask of the red dead", Jean Baptise Grenouille from Patrick Suskind's "The Perfume" and Julius Caesar from Shakespeare's "Caesar".

Edit! - So, I dreamed with this drawing las night, it was like and animated version of this moments. Then, I saw my aunt entering the kitchen with a deer head on her arms, she said: "I brought dinner!".

Well, a brilliant finish to a brilliant piece. Stunning, just the only word I can find right now without reaching for my thesaurus.

Lo acabo de leer, y me parece facinante tu manera de trabajar: ¿Es acaso como improvisar? O dejar que todo fluya, sin pensarlo demasiado.
zep (Aug 7, 2006)
thanks a lot woah pockster (:
y Deino creo que es un poco de ambas cosas jejeje...peor aun no utilizo referencias, entonces tiendo a dibujar siempre lo mismo y absolutamente desproporcionado jajaja, en general yo vivo de esta manera, un poco que fluya y un poco improvisar
salud!

(Upon discovering his multitude of intricately dealt deceits, she howled with resounding fury into the hollow unforgiving night.)

18+ for blatant abuse of ta-tas and hint of poon-tang thrown in for good measure.

Hmm... this might fall more in the category of 'disturbing' than 'distorted', but I gave it my best shot. ;)
I very loosely followed another piece of my own offline art as a ref - I haven't posted it anywhere yet because it's not quite finished. I'll toss the original up on DeviantArt when it decides to behave itself.

I like it, especially the feathers and his expression. I'm not sure what is distorted, though..his head is a lil big, but some people are made that way..lol
Kraisa (edited Aug 5, 2006)
the exagerated features...or the stereotypical features if you will.
davincipoppalag (Aug 5, 2006)
He's standing in front of a glacier..that's ice back there..
Sweetcell (Aug 5, 2006)
As a stand alone picture I like it. Those feathers are touchably soft.
