Damnit Frodo! You could not resist the magic shrooms eh?

Awsome drawing PS. Do you use a drawing tablet? I just purchased one and I am barely getting used to it.

By the way. Sweetcell, you got that right. He was freaky as hell in that movie. I want that movie so bad because it reminds me of a dream. A dream I rarely experience, but when I do, it is very wierd. The orange guy I could have sworn was in my dreams long before movie came out.

Thanks wraith. Yes I've had my Wacom tablet for a couple years. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I got used to it (as I'm sure you will) and it's made digital drawing alot easier.

Girls say my eyes are similair. When i was working at Ryan's i thought this Girl was calling me a hobbit but she just liked my eyes.
LOL This picture is funny.

My first thought was: "Ahh, Elijah Wood meets Happy Feet" THEN I read the title and THEN I read the description. Ohhh yeah I'm gud! hahah nice work. I could already tell it was him by the eyes.

edit: no, wait. This is what it looks like "IF THEY MATED" haha

I think Janus is adorable. When everyone voted for the contest, I thought I give drawing Janus a try if "Turtles" won even if I'm not likely to finish it.

Well, whaddaya know?

Just realised that Mooki already did the turtle carrying a world on its back thing, and probably a little more stylishly. Ahh well.
Here's my attempt to fathom what the hell the great Space Turtle from the Discworld looks like...

I really like the sky.
horsefeather (Apr 10, 2008)
Hey great drawing! I like the space looking sky. For some reason this reminds me of that movie "The Never Ending Story".

Contest Voting
Shanghai (Apr 3, 2008)
We're going to try a new system of voting for what contest idea gets picked next. Everyone can make one suggestion per contest week, which usually runs for a about 2 weeks before the next contest, and everyone gets to make one vote. Ideas for contests will be posted in this thread, and when enough ideas have been made then we'll start a new round of voting to get ready for the next contest.

Contest Week 74: Texture!
Shanghai (edited Apr 3, 2008)
Contest Week 74: Texture! closed for judging In this contest you'll be using the tools available to you to mimic real-life textures and combining them onto unexpected surfaces. Think of it as a contest with a focus on technical skill, but also on originality with what textures you decide to put on what objects. Some examples of unexpected textures would be- A vase with with a texture of water sitting on a table with a texture of leather, or a cloud with a texture of brick above a mount...
