Sweetcell (Apr 29, 2006)
I had this dream on Friday, I'd forgotten it until I was doing some shopping and it popped into my head so I thought I'd share.

It was on my Aunts farm, in an area that doesn't exit anywhere on her property, but in dreams your mind compensates by convincing you you know it. There were hay stacks, one larger than the other, and myself, her and her son (my cousin) were walking around the area when we looked up and saw some Canada geese, I don't remember if they were flying north or south, we talked about them and noticed there were more than there should be. It started out as a small group in V formation (we commented on it in the dream) But suddenly it turned into a swarm of them not a flock, a swarm, and they began to look like they were landing, but really they were flying directly for us.

We didn't have time to get to the house, I noticed an old blanket in the hay and dove under that and my cousing threw my aunt on the hay and covered her with his body, then they came. They were at waist level when they flew by so I could feel them hit the blanket when they passed. *boomboomboom* Each one that swooped down hit it and my cousin and all we could do was wait till they passed. I lifted up the blanket to see how my aunt and cousin were and they gave me a worried look then buried their heads in the hay as more birds swooped down *boomboomboom* on the blanket as they hit, and I watched them fly up into the sky and join the rest.

After the last bird swooped, hit and flew off it was safe. We weren't hurt, surprisingly and we were like "What the hell was that? When did birds do that?" And walked back to the house. I woke up and thought *whoa* weird dream and hoped I'd remember it, now here it'll be in perpetuity.

Orkdoop (May 4, 2006)
Im not scared to see them or talk about them, but I hate when they are in the same building I am in. but its ok as long as I can see them the whole time.

Mascots Anonymous
It's from a comic I draw, about people who never take off there Mascot uniforms.
It's just fun for me to draw. I really should start putting them on the computer.

Lots of people are scared of The E-Bunny. I think it's his teeth.

Kloxboy (edited Apr 30, 2006)
The Contest Board Is Back! After a two month absence, the contest board is finally back in action. There will be a couple changes to this board, but nothing really significant. The only big change is, I, Cloxboy, will be organizing the contest board from now on. My goal is to keep the contest schedule consistent, without lag time. The Contest Board can be an excellent motivator to improve your artistic skills, I hope you all find tim...

A dream I had years back that I can vaguely remember. It seemed like an ordinary day at school... Until the terminator (aka Arnold Schwarzenegger) comandeered one of the nearby semi trucks and decided to try to flatten me with it. Quickly thinking, I extended my finger and started shooting like crazy. I was going to be late for class :(

I don't remember dreams much either. This is such a great illustration of an odd dream. I wish I had a school with fresh produce in the halls.

Ah really like this. Subject matter's really wacky and drawing's been pulled off really well. Really captured that surrealness that you only get in dreams.. the way things're misplaced and weird but still seem absolutely believable lol

Dream where I was able to put my head down through my chest and look into my rib cage. The lighting was much more dramatic. Bright light was coming through the gaps in the front of my rib cage. I also had lungs and a heart... but I pussied out and didn't think it looked as good with them in there. (Ohh and yes, i only had a heart and lungs. Everything else was empty space.) The perspective was hard too.

This is nice as it is. I think it's impossible to exactly reproduce the visions from our dreams.

Just this one. First yellow happy stove I ever did see. My stove doesn't have a happy face, it's white and... come to think of it, it has a sort of surprised look because of the big glass window in the door.

mine looks surprised too

This is my old house, but in dream form.

It's fun to draw your dreams of old places.

I like how I drew the front door.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 29, 2006)
I went to see the house I grew up in once many years later, and I was just pissed that it wasn't like it was when I was little. I wanted the kitchen to still have pink tiles and a black and white floor, and my room wasn't yellow anymore and it was awful. It's better to just dream about it and paint it.

I know this came out really dark. It was supposed to but if you zoom in you can still see details and I have one more I plan to do that is not dark like this. The creature I only know to describe is wolf-like. It almost always is in shadows and I usually only started out with this feeling of complete and total fear. I mean beyond terrified. It would freeze me. (please read my comment to Opiums drawing) I was always trying to fight it but had to work past my fear to do so and alot of the dreams took place in this old abandoned house that had alot of stuff in storage in it. The rocking chair (sometimes a rocking horse too) Boxes, drop cloths etc. I had others in sort of an end of the world setting with sirens going off and no one around but just a very few people and we were all trying to find everyone else. Cars in the ditches etc and it would be stalking me. I later actually saw the abandoned house from my dreams in real life and that house terrified me then just as bad as it did in my dreams. It belonged to my ex's family and they lived in the same house I later found out where my brother was shot and was supposed to of died but actually lived. (still has buckshot in his body) The abondoned house is two houses down from that one and wasn't an old house though. It had burned down once and they rebuilt most of it but never finished the inside. These nightmares plagued me til I was 18 then stopped.

very intruiging, and great story. when I was little ass my dreams started off the same: I'd wake up *in my dream* and walk to my door and there'd be a witch-looking person standing in my hall. she's lead me down my hall *that was a lot longer in my dream* and I'd pick a door. once I picked one she'd push me in and I'd have my dream. it was really weird.
wonderful draw my dear<3 I like that chair =]

Great story...spooky picture too , Jana..
Sweetcell (Apr 29, 2006)
Very eerie that the house in your dream ended up being real. Perhaps you have the touch of the claravoyant in you Jana, I had a seriously weird dream last night that was so real... well it freaked me out. Nightmares, those are the dreams I could do withour remembering.
Felistorm (Apr 29, 2006)
I think that is why my nightmares bother me so badly when I have them. I know I do. I've actually had very strong experiances with it. One I had was my mom being beaten and I was watching it from the cats eyes (she had a cat named Sosha at the time) and I could see her house clearly though I'd never been in it. I watched the whole thing and woke up freaking out. I called her out of being worried sick to make sure she was ok and in real life he'd rebroken her jaw. I found out later it was exactly as I'd described. I was not impressed. I've had some instances that were during when I was awake too but not like that. I never want to experiance that type again. They aren't always bad ones though some are good. Not so often now as they used to be. My ex could never figure out what my problem was with that house. I couldn't hardly stand being in it at all and he wanted to move there and finish it out. LOL
