well, the lopsided-ness could be a style choice (thats what i thought it was when i first saw it) but the shading on the eyes is absolutely wonderful! I also like the transparency of the hair....looks all nymph-like.

Well, it's been a while since i posted something here last....
The main reason i havent posted (aside from lack of time) is lack of an idea. I had no clue what to draw. So, i decided to do a remake of one of the other things i drew, Olga.
Olga's a lightsaber-toting cat in a top hat that someone asked me to draw, and now he/she/it makes another appearance, this time with brown fur. I originally intended for him/her/it to be in some sort of combat pose, but I couldnt think of anything that would turn out well.
On a semi-related note, since i have no ideas of my own right now, how about i start taking requests? that certainly was fun last time! ^_^

I'm uber proud of this piece, it took me awhile, and its my first successful attempt at the shi painter. The more I use it the more I like it...I discovered the floating feature today, made it about a thousand times easier. The background is the first time I've used textures, as well. Red is my favorite color, so I think it highlighted well. thanks!

looks nice except for that god-awful background. I don't get why people think the texture tools are so great... some problems with the anatomy (arms/torso?), but I'm not an expert at that so I won't say anymore.

Perhaps that's a better background, lol. The anatomy looks fine to me, but I also used a model to draw it from, the place of the eyes on teh face is different, but I also gave her different hair than the model. Either way I still like it lol. I'm usually pretty good at drawing human (female) anatomy, but this is a position I've never drawn before. Plus, I've been staring at it for awhile, tomorrow I might look at it and go OMG that arm is SO in the wrong place. Thanks for the tips!

friday, my step mother died, and on tuesday we had her funeral. i had a hard time and will eventually get ocer it, but she was a beatiful person and she was really REALLY nice. she always seemed to smile and her smile was always genuine. i loved her like my own mother. and ill miss her more than i miss the moon during the day. i would be glad to accept comments from you, for it my help me on my path of life.
