Marcello, mazi, I give you this.He's done five guitar pictures in a row. That's not a big deal. And it's not spam, either. (dates, time, etc). Give him a break, it's too early to be saying anything of that worth. He hasn't just drawn guitars...

Marcello, mazi this was a series i was working on ...of course I will do other stuff i am not going to just draw giutars, yes different angles would have made it easier for you guys to look at. repetitive maybe but these drawing are what I love doingthere are alot of other people on here who do repetitive drawings and i guess cause there popular, its ok... but this me and what I love... isn't that what an artist does? thanks for your imput.

haha. scarey? oh my. any suggestions on how to shade? i dont really know how...HAHA. okay, if she wasnt scary before...she is now. i tried some shading, and now she just looks bruised, lol. umm...guess its >>back to the drawing board<< *hehe* im gonna practice some light/dark stuff *sigh*

Okay, Dix, it's not _that_ scary. :) lol. It's really great for a beginning. With every piece you do, you'll learn and evolve. On this one, I think your choice of colors is really good, even in the skin tones. For the shading on a face, try to remember to highlight the plains and darken the receding places for shadows. Blend it with the rest of the face. And for shading in your backgrounds and with objects, to get perspective remember that colors are less vibrant the farther away they are, and things are less defined in general. Now practice some more! And if u have a tablet, USE IT! You've got talent! Love ya Dixie. :) |

just a fun exercise that a painter once told me-try creating black without using any black. it creates depth. it's hard, i know!

Her arms are a little stretched, especially the left one. Nice work with the shading, though. Also, the ripples on her clothing are great, you seem to got an eye for that.
