Gunshots
Oliveman
(Feb 3, 2004)
A face in the middle of gunshots. I know theres a style of drawing that makes the lines sketchy on purpose.... but i forgot what its called. This picture is kinda goth, dontya think?
Deformed (Feb 4, 2004)

PurpleLlamasRcoming (Feb 5, 2004)

Well, I'm new here, and this is my *very* *first* drawing. I do not have a tablet -_- thus, my art sucks. But I figured I'd try. I might improve this, I'm not sure, but for now, it's finished.Blessed be
dixielandcutie (Feb 3, 2004)

Ari (Feb 4, 2004)
Ah, love, you're so much better than me at eyes!
tryagainpixie (Feb 5, 2004)
*blink* having a tablet doesn't make your art better....some people have tablets and they just suck so dunt worry about your art ^^ |

I wanted to use a different angle for this pic : slightly above the "eye line".Dunno if I did it correctly ... But there's one thing I know ... I really suck at drawing backgrounds ... T_T
taori (Feb 3, 2004)
welcome to the club. i can't do backgrounds worth beans either. ^^; but really, your art is so amazing. i love the soft feel and the subtle shading. the angle looks good to me, better than i could do anyhow. i'm no expert, but maybe if you wanted to make it even more "above the eyeline," you could move the eyes down a bit more so that the forehead's more prominent... err.. bad explanation, hope that made some sense. :P
graywolf (Feb 3, 2004)
AWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! *gives boy cookie* Cute!!!! Can I have him @.@? |

shes wondering which piece got deleted and why it was ten points taken off when it was only a 5 point piece lol. i really wish when theres an unusual situation like that and double points are taken off the mod could take a sec to explain why. i understand u folks dont have all the timein the world but hey, if i earn 5 points, and its deleted and i lose 5 points, i understand, but i lost ten and id like to have known why.
marcello (Feb 3, 2004)
Time for lesson on points!!!Ok, first, you submit something as unfinished, you get NO points!! wooO! Now, you set it to finished, and woo you get points!!! woo!!! 5 on beginner!!! Ok now someone deletes it, not only do you lose the 5 points you got, but 5 more points to remind you to follow the rules. So that's losing 10 points, but only 5 more than you originally had. But wait, what if it was deleted before it was set to finished? You never got 5 points in the first place, so you don't lose those 5, you just lose 5 points to remind you to follow the rules. So, you depending how many points you got for submitting the picture will affect how many you lose. If it was unfinished, you never got any.
brushes4 (edited Feb 3, 2004)
well now...that sucks lol. i fully understand the system points now..thanks marcello, and my apologies to Merulotte, u were right i was wrong... i STILL think reasons should be given for deletions tho lol..i know i know i'll shut up about it now :O)
marcello (Feb 3, 2004)
In general the reason is "spend more time on your drawing" or "put more (obvious) effort into your drawing"In this case I'd probably say something like "don't use the freaking texture tools they make a picture look crap" ok it was a crappy statementnow its mundane rainbow lace
