Kaithe, a character from a short story I'm writing called 'Incarnate'. Things I like: The underlight, her hair, the blue part of her dress Stuff I delike: her skin colour [too blue and saturated!], her ear, her face, her eyes [too big for my liking], everything else in general. I'm not really very good with oekaki, I can NEVER seem to get it to work for me even after two years. >_< I think only the bottom quarter of the image and her hair turned out normal enough not to burn your eyes out. I'm not used to cel-shading, so forgive all the bad flaws. Sorry. This was my first time ever colouring hair with cel style, so I think it turned out relatively successful. =3 Umm..I love criticism. I really want to improve, I'm not happy at all with my current art style.

Her skin is actually supposed to be a whole lot lighter, and a bit more purple at that...I think I got lazy. I like darker colours too, but that was just how I designed her character. Thankyou. X3

that's cool ^^ i'd say her other ear should be showing a bit on the right side :3 and the eyes freak me out... but meh this is real cool :D cel shading is fun fun ^_^ i like the hair best

Yeah, yeah. XD Can I pass it off as being lazy? Or not noticing? Or..something? XD Or...maybe her ears was...partly ripped off or something.. Nah, I see where you're coming from. The ear should be there, yes. I couldn't get the eyes very right since it was just cel-shading..but meh. Thanks for your comments! ^__^ <3 |

urm....i've been trying out all the different options on the board and i'm still learning how to use them and all of the tools and stuff. i'm also still trying to get used to drawing with a mouse because its kinda harder to do than i had once thought. well, this kind of character design is something that i have wanted to sketch out for a pretty good while. well, its obviously not finished yet, but i hope it looks ok for a start... |
