If you need a tutorial look on the very upper right of the screen. Where it says draw, what else does it say?

Draw|Browse|Memo's|My Studio@2draw|WIKI|Help.

Layers is on the left of Lascaux. There's a window that keeps the progress of what your doing/using. Below that it says 'layer 1'. Below that is a list of 'icons' from 'add new layer', to 'merge', to 'copy' etc. Place your mouse over the icons to find out which is 'add new layer'.

And Tai Chi's correct. DO NOT use the fill tool. Unless your filling the whole screen, or you fill a small section on a seperate layer and erase around the subject. I've found fill tool is bad to use on any Oekaki site, but too many people use it.

It's looking pretty so far Sandy, gotts love bere's.

It's an instrructional tutorial honey, tells you all about the tools, what they do, how they work. Just click on Wiki on the very upper right corner of the screen (scroll up) and look for the tutorial page.
I can see your still working on this so please, go back and fill in the white marks by making a new (lower) layer and filling in the blotches, it's really taking away from a pretty picture. And try some shading and highlights. :)

Heh yeah i tend to make my guys look like girl and my girls look like guys a problem i have but i'm working on fixing it. It's not going too entirely well.

Okay so i'm writing a story and it needs a modern day wizard. And so this is what i came up with. I'm still playing around with it but tell me what you think...and then i just messed around with the back ground a little it looks alright not too fancy or anything oh well.

nice way of shading, contrast makes it very strong coloured (red). green should be darker. maybe instead of 4 small leaves 1 bigger will look better?

To Wraith: If you use shi-painter, there's an option that lets you chose textured brushes, like the checkerboard one MelissaMissy used. I can't remember where you find it though, sorry. :(

On shi-painter go to the colour, click it and change it to textures. Pick the texture you want and colour. I did mine with water paint brush (or whatever you call it) so the colour is light. Anyway thank you very much guys, I will change it to 4 fingers later on when I´m not busy. Keep commenting.
