First oekaki ever! Mostly just playing around with the appletthingy and generally getting to know the tools.
Used a reference pic [http://www.aquahotels.com/galleryresources/bourgas/pool_4.jpg] found on Google.
I learned a lot of things while creating this picture, you know. First of all, that drawing with a mouse creates Big Headache and Much Cursing. And that maybe I'm not the greatest artist in the world. ^_^U Criticism welcome.

I can't give you any advice or criticism at all, for I am just an apprentice myself. But....I think this is a good picture for a first try. A lot better than my first. I'll tell you just like everyone tells me. Keep practicing! You will improve.

Long Time... No Draw?

First time in 3 years that I have drawn on an Oekaki. I am a tad rusty... didn't feel like making anything elaborate. Just doodled. I have to clean up my room, it is feeling really cramped in here.

well shes supposed to have giesha make up on, thats why, cause the paint only is painted there in a tight pinch ove and under the lips, but i decide not to paint her face white like gieshas...i dunno...

^_^ Oekaki is so much fun. I spend less and less time on each picture every time I start one. I hope that's a good sign.
This attempt in particular came out as, well, not what I was shooting for. Really, I started out just wanting to improve my linearts. Used the bezier tool. It was SO like cheating! XDDD And modifying the thickness in some places. Maybe not properly, but it's a start. Than, I tried using opacity to create highlights, and it has become quite apparent to me that coloring is not my best... ah, skill. The shading looks pretty off, too, but I lack the capacity to comprehend such things as depth perception. Or whatever it is that make shadows... shadows. ^^U Don't get me started on backgrounds. Still! All in all, I think it's nifty.

Wintery landscape. Really not sure why there's a rabbit there. First oekaki ever. Can you tell?
Just played around with the airbrush and watercolor effects.
