^_^ Oekaki is so much fun. I spend less and less time on each picture every time I start one. I hope that's a good sign.This attempt in particular came out as, well, not what I was shooting for. Really, I started out just wanting to improve my linearts. Used the bezier tool. It was SO like cheating! XDDD And modifying the thickness in some places. Maybe not properly, but it's a start. Than, I tried using opacity to create highlights, and it has become quite apparent to me that coloring is not my best... ah, skill. The shading looks pretty off, too, but I lack the capacity to comprehend such things as depth perception. Or whatever it is that make shadows... shadows. ^^U Don't get me started on backgrounds. Still! All in all, I think it's nifty. That's it. Criticism, as always, much appreciated! |

Wintery landscape. Really not sure why there's a rabbit there. First oekaki ever. Can you tell?Just played around with the airbrush and watercolor effects.

this Christmas I got a new art table... awesome.. one way better than my old one.... that I found off the side of the road.... I also got a bottle of vodka and a shot glass from my sister.... My white fox got me the table.... And I'm just happy.... Yay....

Let's see, biggest gift I got this year was a dvd/vcr combo, and I was just asking for a new vcr, so my old/new dvd (just got it 2 years ago) goes to pop. Other than that, hmmm unicorn plushie from a brother who asked what I wanted specifically and I said headphones, he said ok, and of course he gets me a unicorn plushie because he knew I liked them (10 to 15 years ago) and one of those weird sparkly fluffy scarves and mitts, which don't fit me and which is far too young for me. Yes, he listens doesn't he? Bath products a gift card and some cash level out the prezzies. Ah well, it get's too hard to get someone something when they're older (but a plushie?)Good for you fox, enjoy it.

Wow, congrats, the art table sounds pretty sweet! All I got was a bunch of gift cards, some makeup, and a DVD. XP Those gift cards will be put to good use, yes. Here's to hoping the next Christmases are just as good, if not better than this year.

the brush strokes you made and the colour in this is fucking awesome. Though it looks a bit unreal. You should use this style with some referenced faces because it looks so cool.
