I was sitting on my porch this morning thinking about how to draw trees and i concluded that no matter how much i tried, I would not be able to paint a tree as beautiful or realistic as an actual tree. Then i began thinking that artists aren't restricted to drawing trees exactly as they are. Artists have a special gift. They are able to morph realism into fiction and create new and beautiful things. You can draw real looking pictures of things that could never ever happen in real life. That inspires me. |

FART! FART! FART! FART! FART! FART!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Oct 5, 2007)
I love this picture you painted of ladybugs. How do we get more ladybugs, though, if they are all ladybugs and there aren't any boybugs?
enjoydotcom (Oct 5, 2007)
I have no idea! Funny thing is, in Dutch they are called, lieveheersbeestjes which translates literally into sweet-gentleman-bugs.
Roytje (Oct 6, 2007)
Or sweet-rule-bugs... :P |

Something about this image is inspiring.the form looks like looks like it could be poured from liquid ivory. It's graceful.
Arique (Sep 2, 2007)
It reminds me of an Onion. I really like onions.
Silvair (Sep 2, 2007)
*gawk* I agree with solo, this makes me feel inspired :D. It's like a surging feeling of light erupting from the dark, or like looking up from the bottom of a pit and seeing this luminescence.
davincipoppalag (edited Sep 2, 2007)
I see a pimple getting built up to poke through the skin and culminate in a zit...Actually I see a graceful jellyfish... |

So much unfounded negativity comes with the word atheist, so much I don't even like referring to myself as one. I am, however, very much an atheist. Most social labels come with their own social stigmas, it comes with the territory. I only wish more people would take the time to see past the social stigmas of a particular label and find out what the individual person believes, going beyond what you know about their social affiliation. By doing this, you still may not agree or like what that person believes but at least you'll know where that person stands as an individual, not as a group. And boy, beliefs do vary within the same groups, especially when it comes to religion.

zakir naik talk's on atheism also down that line of thinking

Religion is a strange phenomena... It is it isNice picture anyway, I really love how threatful yet funny that face looks XD
IkariIreuL (Sep 2, 2007)
Yes, I refer to myself as a kind of naturalist, naturalism with the meaning: "doctrine that all reality comes under the “laws of Nature.”, and no one knows all laws of nature. That´s the short answer. |

It almost seems too flat towards the stem, I think.Might go fix that up tomorrow, if I have time.
Arique (Sep 2, 2007)

Haha my first picture here. This one is strongly inspired by a trippy old 80's cartoon called Face Like A Frog. I was going to add a fancy background but I'm kinda busy =_=;;
solo_mob (Sep 2, 2007)

Arique (Sep 2, 2007)
I like this a lot! It's colored really simplistically and clean and thats cool. Welcome to 2Draw!
HolyCow (Oct 14, 2007)
