They look like the marker cap of prisma markers (copics are slightly wider and more squarish)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can improve this?? This is going to be given to my friend as her birthday gift.

Getting better - the shadow under her jaw is good - try mixing some purple (very lightly) into the very darkest shadows of her face. Also, her lips need more definition- better than it was before, I can start to see that this is indeed a girl and that she's got some definition to her features - as the other one was very flat. You have the contours of her face right (except for her nose, but I'm really not sure what to do there, I think her nostrils are too long?) The background colour kind of washes her out, so if you picked another colour that might help as well.

Okay, thank you. I'll add that to the shadows and fix the mouth later. I think I'll add more definition to the hair as well, and the nose needs more tweaking. What color would you suggest for the background?

Ahhh, a pretty glow Miss Elly. Reminds me of a picture that was in our paper of a lone tree in the middle of an icy tundra. Love those branches.
