Just as a little thought, doing that 6/7 heads thing to get the body proportion is good for giving you some groundwork. But It may be better in the long run (for poses and drawing in general) if you practice trial and error with the eraser. And to train your eyes into seeing what looks right and wrong!
I'm not that great or anything but I'm learning too:)
