well I started with the face in just clack and gray water color and then made the left part of the face fade up toward the side and then just started adding light layers of water color over and over till it came to this..*shrugs* Im not very good at explaing things but i hope that gives you some idea

the hand is really good!! damn, i wish i could draw hands like that..... the only problem is with the face.... it looks good, but (for future reference) you could elongate it, seeing as the hand is very large beside the face.... also, if you are going for the 3/4 side view, then you should include a portion of the face that is hidden by the nose in the side view.... and by the way.... YOU ARE AWESOME AT SHADING HAIR, AND THE BACKGROUND ROCKS!!!!

My first *serious* picture on Lascaux Sketch. The first pic was *not serious*.
I like the multiple layer option. This is like an easified version of OekakiBBS, with all the niceness of PaintBBS tossed in and stirred up lovingly. And that's a good thing. (Eep, MArtha Stewart may have posessed me)
Well, not much else to say here. Other than this, the chainmail was done in Halftone (duh), but I couldn't find it at first. I panicked. ^_^

the arm muscles arent too good, but could be improved if you turned the black lines to skintone or brown ones, then faded them in....

Well i am kinda thinking of what to do 4 my art exam, its in a few weeks. I know im gona do sumthin with fish in it but i dont really know what yet. Shoulda been revising for an maths exam but im really shit at it so FUCK MATHS! LETS DRAW! ";. Well i like the fish and the plant and athough everything is pretty scruffy i still like it.

Great Pick!!! Pinklynx is..... um.... this person who draws REALLY GREAT DRAWINGS!!!!!.... yes this drawing does look like her style =) but the Sea Girl looks kinda sad.... dontcha think? but dont get me rong this is an amazing pic!

Wow... Such soft shading!
And the lines... Are nice. Really nice.
Not to mention it has a more-than-decent background. Mine are always so... Insane and colorful and odd...
The shine effect on her is really good, and the shadow is accurate. The environment around her is more interactive than a usual one that I see.
The flowing water form behind her (Guessing it is a small stream) is also very nice.
So from that, I gather that this picture is very good. ^_^;

not too well done, but i am kind of a critic of these things.... the eyes need more expression and shading, cause they look a tad bit flat. so does the hair. the mouth should be a fatter isosceles triangle that is higher up on the face and doesnt hang down below the jaw. ehhe... i like the background though!( oops... the neck also kind of sucks... and the head is too flat. and if you were going for anime style hair, it should be bigger and pouffier...)
