This piece was inspired by an overdose of super robot anime.Imagine your favorite 70's-80's robot anime theme song singer (preferably Sasaki Isao, Kageyama Hironobu or MIO) wailing in the background and you'll get the right mood. Holy crap do I love giant robots. |

I'd wonder, but actually I wouldn't, since I don't know either of you.interesting semi-realistic style. the background looks slapped together though. especially with that inconsistent white border around the figures.

I really like this pic, especially the face on the left, but marcello is right in that the background really takes away from it. also the hand on the left doesn't look colored in right, or something. And I got yelled at (not really) for not shading enough (I wasn't done with the pic yet lol) and I noticed you shaded the green shirt, and the lil heart, but nothing else. but i do like the pic! =D |

Mm, sexy. I love the boots, and the shading on the boots. The hand seems off, though, and the head is waaay too small. Your palm should cover your face. That hand could cover her whole head. But the boots make up for it. ~_~ |

That's Duan Long from the chinese comic book/live-action TV series "Feng Yun Tian Xia", aka "Wind and Cloud", "Storm Riders" and a few other names I must've forgotten... I like this character. Because of his pride, he gets pushed down into the ground and is made to sweep floors, which explains the gorgeous engrish sentence in the picture. Then, with that same pride, he works hard to get back up again and take revenge against those who have wronged him.So... I wasn't sure what to do with this picture, so I played around with a lot of stuff. I took the character design from the TV show, changed it around a bit, made the colors weird, and so on... also experimented with shading. I think it looks pretty funky. |
