OK I really like drawing twisty trees so fun! ^__^ Maybe this one is a bit more scary?

This is sooooo....creative, imaginative, stylish, whimsical, I could go on and on. It's just a really good piece of art. As a matter of fact, if it were a painting I would buy it and hang it in my house. I love big old trees... sometimes I wish the ones that have been around for a hundred years or more could talk. Just think of everything they've seen. Standing on the shore by the ocean makes me feel like the person in your picture.

Ditto with Cindy.
laurael (May 22, 2005)
I always found trees to climb...I love trees...I wish I had one like this in my backyard. I would be on it just like that little person you have there...great shadow too.

So who do you love?
Who do you trust when your friends take a match to your front lawn?
A panicked face makes the peacock proud.
So who do you love? Who do you trust?
Who do you kill when your senator drags out your first born?
A panicked face makes the peacock proud.

whoa! really cool, alex! I love the bones!
Kloxboy (May 22, 2005)
Very creative idea, well done.

I wish I had thought of this idea when we had to draw those lame hand-traced turkeys for Thanksgiving Day in first grade. I'm sure the teacher would respond with abject indifference...as it should be.
davincipoppalag (May 22, 2005)
This is a grabber. The bony hands/peacock tail are so creepy!
laurael (May 22, 2005)
The bones are great, but I like how you did the bird itself, too.

This is great, although the solid coloring is a surprise to me. Did you use any reference for the dragon rider in the foreground? The perspective effect on that is great.

edit: Impressive!

Mabe if you pulled the chain, all the light would go off. It's kinda like a ground line, but it does look weird. Plus I'm experimenting with weird styles, I can never keep track of one. And no, there was no reference.

thanks, your great

You did fantastic on this. I love the lineart and the clean, cartoonish look to it.

I messed up Ian McDiarmid's face.
:(
Episode 3 was great, though. Especially Palpatine (before the hideousness took place :P).

bitchin'. yeah, i liked it too. i saw it at midnight (brought ma lightsaber and ma jedi boots, thank you very much) on wednesday and was actually quite satisfied. unlike the other two, it actually added something to the original plot. and plus, yoda gets a piggyback ride from chewbacca. it doesn't get cooler than that.

I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched a change in you
It’s like you never had wings
Now you feel so alive
I’ve watched you change

The hurt inside is fading
This shit gone way too far.
All this time I've been waiting
No I can not grieve anymore.
For what's inside awaking.
I'm not, I'm not a whore
You've taken everything and oh I can not give anymore.
Kloxboy (May 22, 2005)
Your presence is appreciated. This drawing is very unique. The colors, the composition and the patterns in this piece rock very much.
