i find this painting of mine a bit odd....it reminds me very much of some russian style paintings/statues...almost communistic, but not as good of course

I don't know what you had in mind as your initial intention for this piece, but if it isn't what you envisioned it would be.... be satisfied for what it is now... it's a very interesting piece of art. I like the way the lines and colors meet and are all fluid together. You achieved something very aesthetically pleasing here. |

just a rough sketch. Oh, the angst! :P~hey does anyone have a good reference pic for me? I need one of a girl's head "thrown back", like as if she's crying out to the sky or something. or even just looking at the sky. whatever. I am horrible at that angle, and I can't seem to successfully google any reference pics. help! >.<

I don't think this failed at all... yeah, if some lines weren't there and a tiny bit more time was spent on it, it'd kick bigger ass, but as is now, it already kicks ass if you ask me, and I really like how it's so big
