nice rant. i agree. copying is a fine exercise as long as you credit the original photo. using your own voice is always a greater risk--which is why it's much more fun on all sides. in the fine art world, artists who do this sort of thing always add an indicator in the title. they'll say, "after ____insert artist's name". what gets me are those "pros" in galleries who blatantly lift another artist's style and call it their own.

I think it is okay, I liked the other drawing you tried to get on intermediate a long time ago way better. I wish they let it stay, you dont know how much I liked it, but that stupid Zach person moved it down , no offense to him. But anyways, getting to the point I really do like it.

Tried to render Inuyasha in something Anime-like but more me then Takehashi-sama. Applet was acting screwy. It won't let me draw or erase or anything. Wanted to at least submit something before it ate my drawing. -__-;

Tried to give a forest feel. Don't think I did too good on that, it was my first attempt. Also a first attempt at trying individual strands on hair. Hope those scratch marks look like scratch marks.
