Hahahahaha! Yah this pic drove me crazy(er).I couldn't decide on a coloring style so I recolored some areas over, and over, and over........ugh.... And I still don't like the brown boy's hair (they're both boys so yah its a yaoi pic). I think I choose too light of hightlights for him.....all well I'm at the faze where I don't give a crap. I originally planned having them laying on grass but when I draw grass I often do too much detail and then the picture strays from the main subject. Plus I would had to outline their shadows and with their crazy hair going in all directions I just wasn't up to it......so I thought "what is easy to make and easy to put shadows in? AH HA clouds! They can be floating on clouds as in a dream! Thats original right?" So then I just went nuts with the watercolor tool and ta-dah. Oh and ignore the time, this was just an off and on project. |

Wow, this is really really cool. The subject matter isn't really what I'm into, but the design is so interesting. Like a glowing tattoo or something. :D

Should have gone in the landscape contest...This is beautiful, however, i think the sharpness of the trees and hills take the attention too much.

for some reason i want to go out and buy the whole sailor moon manga series. however, NO BOOKSTORE HAS THEM ANYMORE! well, the major bookstores don't... i don't know where to look anyway ..............this person has severe allergies!
i dont nkow what to do with the background!
i am done. a carrot exploded on this kid's head. (it matches with the cup too so the color scheme works. shh!)
comments and constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. i can't type straight. just looking at this makes me feel like i have oil pastel stuck to my fingers, ug. i noticed all the people i draw here are hardly smiling, so this kid here is smiling for you! :) god god god i'm a lazy bum...

But anyway, onto the picture. >w< I don't see how you hate the shading on the left boy's hair. I LOVE IT. o__o; Well, I love the shading in general, but yeah. I'm always drawn to the eyes. ^^
It's no so much the shading, it's the highlights, they just seem too bright for his color hair. Or maybe theres too much red in them....whatever.....>.<
