This is me venting my frustrations with my comp, Java, and Shi Painter. I've been trying to complete an Oekaki at Oekaki Central for roughly the last two weeks, only to have it crash on me while I'm putting the finishing touches on it each time. On top of that not being able to recover the image at all. So I'm straight on that business. I took the time to dig up my old email address that I registered here two years ago xD Oh some ref pics I used:http://www.gi.alaska.edu/~mahoney/Photos/Seasons/Lumberjack.jpg http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1650000/images/_1654666_william1.jpg As you can see, they were very sparingly used xp I plan on coloring this, unless someone else would like to. EDIT: Seems I can't finish it, as I keep getting the java.lang.outofmemoryerror: Java heap space message. Durrrr.... |

Great animated personality in the draw!!! Love the green guy's expression and how much the little one is enjoying the moment!!! Now I'm going to have to go find Invader Zim and watch it!!! If it's half as good as your picture, it will be way worth it!!

She looks very pretty..it looks a tad flat on her eye and her cheek below..maybe some shadow there and highlights to give it roundness..the hair looks greatFixing face details... Thanks for the comments

So yeah, I decided to enter even If I haven't draw anime in my entire life... so it dosen't matter if I win or lose, I will be learning something new :DGuess who she is, here is a tip: She is three and one. Lol confusing. --------- Edit! I moved this drawing beacuse I felt It was not very "animeish", and also beacuse I didn't wanted to press myself to finish it before the contest ends... school you know? It surely takes a lot of time.

Trying something a little harder.I had just noticed you could see through his hair, and it didn't have any texture. Maybe looks better now.

the arm looks like its a little too long, but other than that, i really like this one! the shading is done very well, and i like how you did her hair; very pretty

Thanks, now that you mention the arm...it does look a tad bit long. I love doing shading, it is my favorite part of a drawing, and I wish I couild do hair better. I have seen some on here that look so realy you could reach out and touch it.
