Hey, you finally finished this one^^!I think out of the two of them, the boy sitting on the ground looks better with their new heads.But yeah, now it has more of a feeling to it with their expressions^^.

The colors are very nice.. I think something to give the suggestion that is water would help.. at first I thought it was sky ..and what Gigandas said about some unlit sparkly specks in the dark area would be good.. nice picture

yes those fingers are crooked on purpose, I think adds to the piece ,like when this guy was young he gave the birdie to alot of people, and one day someone broke his middle finger and he never did it again:) sorry just rambling.

This gives me the shudders. But... the hand is too blurry, I think, and the blood and the blade (or whatever that is) need highlights to make it look a little more realistic.
edit: the shape of the hand is good (one of my middle fingers is crooked almost exactly like that... broke it playing softball as a kid) softball, pfffft. a boy invented that just so the girls wouldn't hit the balls farther than them.
