weeeellll I think this drawing is okay...and sometiems I think its really good....Its kind of like when you look at a girl and your not quite sure if shes pretty sometimes she is, but sometimes her face is shaped wierd or something......yea, thats whats this is like...I think im finished..but ...i think i might do more...

I think your picture is pretty good, and I think I will think that the next time I look at it, too. (And if the girl was really pretty, she would be pretty every time you looked at her, without a question. :)

I know exactly what he means. Picture: Helen Hunt, Leelee Sobieski , and Uma Thurman. Sometimes very pretty, sometimes pretty homely. But I like the picture too. |

Is that a boy or a girl? Their head is messed up. And the hair should flow down both sides. And that right shoulder is weird lookin. Try to get it to look like the other shoulder. Now that Marcello has left my body, the face looks really good! Nice coloring and shading, BTW.

A question for the more skilled oekaki-ers:- How can I make my colors smoother and my objects less two-dimensional? Some help would be greatly appreciated.

to smooth out colors, try erasing the edges of your blocks of colors w/the eraser on a pretty low opacity, then blurring it. for more 3-dimensionality, you have to develop your skill with light and shadow; namely the use of 'core shadows', which are very important in creating that 3d look. i don't think i can explain it adequately, so look it up. i'm sure there are lots of drawing sites that can explain it pretty well. anyways, this is looking really good so far! i especially like the lion. ^___^
