I was kinda going for that kind of look. Not all art has to be colored and smooth.

Cute picture. It seems you usually use the colors that are already on the palette.. Maybe try using some different colors. As always, nice lineart. This is a nice, soft picture.

She looks like a harpy, from Peirs Anthony's Xanth series. I love this, it's so well done. The castle in the background kicks ass.

Ruins at Dark

And when the sun sets, a ghostly darkness blankets the collapsing palaces and temples, moving the historic into the romantic.

This is loosely based on a few photos of Roman ruins I found laying about the internet. It was a practice in perspective, lines and shading.
