There'd be a background, but there are these little white spots I can't get to go away. I keep going through the layers trying to erase them but they stick around :/

The dress fabric looks like a tablecloth from the 50's. it is amazing. Very fun pic!! Sorry bout the bkground.

this is really nice..i love the dress the hair..the style.

one thing that bugs me a bit is the harshness of the black lines that are her eyes..it just doesnt seem to fit with the softness of the rest of the pic. her pose is just really cool tho. (again)

Came out great froot. The writing on the mug makes the glass look thick with the placement of the shadows, and it looks so frothy and good. Yumm yumm. What would finish this is a small trickle of beer down the side.

Omni magizine is a great place for artistic inspiration. Part of the face came from the mag, the rest is mine. I was worried because I kept adding and adding. Something more with the eyes, maybe some more shading, some highlights.... that's what I kept saying and I didn't know when to stop. I think there could be more but I spent enough time on this.

Just some quick practice sketches to warm up.

Used a reference of a tortoise for this one: http://www.backfromthebrink.org/speciesimages/13/1_gopher_tortoise.jpg.

Tried to emulate my pencil technique with the tablet, but it takes longer and doesn't look nearly as good.

Nice loose reference work. I like your hatching; it makes for a very illustrative style. I think it'd be cool if you made some of these pictures like they were pages from some fantasy logbook.

Hey there my peeps...grrrrr... this pic was making me mad because the freakin things kept glitching and being weird whenever I would switch layers or something. Luckily this picture turned out good.
