I always wondered why 3/4 of anime guys have emo-ish long hair, instead of well...normal guy hair. This is great, i love the loose lines and the soft coloring :).

I have heard it before but no body tells me what it is, I remember that emo means that is some one who loves to cut them self, but I don't know if thats the true consept of the meaning of the word...........O-O

My first real attempt at realism.. It's supposed to be Bruce Dickinson in a leather jacket.. I still have a long way to go, but I think i'm doing ok. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

This is a pretty good start. It is good that you are working from dark to light.

The one major tip that I can give you is that you should paint much larger. It's extremely difficult to create realism on such a small scale. The head should be taking up most, if not all of the canvas size. Working with tiny little brush strokes makes it much too hard to see. Look at some of the good realism paintings on this website. You will see that the subject matter is very simple, and the artists makes full use of the canvas size.

Looks good

Try breaking the picture down to it's basic shapes,
And then draw it with shapes until you think everthing is in the right place.
Now you can start addind detail and value.

1. Block it in
2. work the whole pic at once, don't work on one area more than the rest.
3. detail should be put after blocking in and base values are complete.

My hamster died once. and twice. My hamsters live for about 3 or 4 years. I got a new one. Golden hamster. Named her Angel III.

i had a hamster.....she was evil, but adorable....she died only after i had her for a month or two or three...it was really sad....i hate it when animals die

I first put on it in 18+ because for me it has alot of blood for to be on 13+, but it seemsn that they changed the rating because I don't remember changing the rating..............O-O
Maybe they have decided that its not that hight rated for all the blood it has, I don't know I just followed the rules of rathing.........>-<

No, im talking about the color >P 13+ is fine for this. I think it would have looked like acutal blood and not kool-aid if you made it more of a dark crimson-red color =p still very nice though.

Ohh, you're right now that I see the pic. more detailed I should have use darker red like you say.........>-<
From the clothes blood I really have no complain, but I do see that from the left side of the wall does need some more darkening, thanks so much Kristine for telling me, I really appreciate it............^-^

Fantastic, I love the perspective, and the clothes, you got them to look like velvet. Damn. Only thing I see off a bit is the hair and nose, but this piece is.... I always said the Queen looked prettier than Snow.

Yeah! Haha...I'm a huge sharpie fan, and so is one of my favorite artists. Can't wait to see it done.
If you want check him out: Tom Sachs. He actually made his own replica of a sharpie, and you can buy the Tom Sachs edition. Its pretty awesome.
Anyway the colors look just about perfect.
