Mixed memories

No complete reference, just glanced at several pictures for a guidance. For the animals I did use photo's of course. One layer drawing is fun.

Called mixed memories before I am also working from memory the one time I spent two days in the Venezuelan jungle. That vacation was money well spent. It was in 2000 and I still remember how wonderful it was.

Finished, for now, I keep seeing things to fix, but I'm at a point it might harm more than do good.

This pic reminds me of that riddle about the animals on different sides of the river and the boy on a raft needs to get all the animals across somehow without them killing each other.

This has a very 'pop-out' feel to me. Lots of interesting stuff going on here.

Definitely could be the cover for a kids jungle book. My favorite part is the li'l grassy area and the cubbies. So cute!

Maybe not.....but I still think it would make a great halloween costume.....in fact....years ago, I actually went to a bar with my husband.....it was to a halloween party.....and I wore a little black "mini skirt", and a black bodysuit, and I wore high black boots, and I had a black cape over my shoulders, and I painted my face white, with black around my eyes and lips. I didn't have that awesome mask that you have in your draw here though.....but my costume pretty much resembled the outfit in your "pic". Anyways....I think this is an awesome draw!! :)

Beautiful. I love that most of the color shades are brown and tan, and then there's just that little bit of blue in the necklace and earrings. Really, wonderful drawing.
