You're so cute. :).... and this is so true. Never, but never, flush one and try to replace it. This should be your child's first lesson in death. Nobody gets out alive, not the goldfish, not the cat, not the dog, not us. :)

My mom never pulled the replacement stunt. We were the ones to find the fish dead, and we were the ones to flush it. :(

I never had a goldfish. I have a cat and a dog and two brothers and a fishbowl full of Sea Monkeys. But the kindergarden class at my elementary school very suspisiously had the same hamster for all the eight years I went there.
