the first time I went into a cave (Carlsbad caverns) I hyperventilated and fainted.... scary as hell (put little people in the Sylvanton, please!)

DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 14, 2006)
I forgot to say this made me feel kinda dizzy so it's very realistically cave-like.
Airin (May 14, 2006)
the shadows on the ledges is well done, nice sense of depth, really draws a person in
Deino (May 14, 2006)
Wow... just...wow.
Kloxboy (May 14, 2006)
I like the lighting and perspective. Nice sense of depth, I dig it.

You are so good at these fantasy scenes. The feeling of depth is great.
Zack (May 14, 2006)
Thanks Dave. I wish I hadn't messed with version 1, though. Oh well.
Sweetcell (May 14, 2006)
Version one is my favorite, it has more highlights and brings the depth of the piece in, but all the versions are great. Like poppa said, you do the fabtasy scenes well (ahh, a fellow fantasy artist.)

Carlsbad caverns were one of the places they filmed the 1959 version of Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" with the indomitable actor James Mason and Pat Boone. One of my favorite films.

Wow This reminds me of LOTR! Man thats sweet!
staci (edited May 14, 2006)
yes.

i like them both..his little body looks very lego though..just a couple more angles maybe? less arm?
Zack (May 14, 2006)
yeah the guy looks terrible, heheh. I'll take a stab at fixing him up soon.
kristine (May 14, 2006)
You never cease to amaze, Zack.
Miss_DJ (May 14, 2006)
so wonderful..the lighting is great! I can sense the coolness of the air coming off of cold, hard walls.
Pseudonymous (May 14, 2006)
Oh cool. This took me a while to notice because it's so dark, but it's really well done. I love the rocks and the lighting on them.
If you liked version one better, can't you just press undo a thousand times? Hehe..
HunterKiller_ (May 14, 2006)
This is great.
frootcake (May 17, 2006)
the depth and size in there :) mmm
TaCO (May 19, 2006)
I like this one.
It has a strong sense of story.
I keep waiting for a giant Tahtie to jump out at him.
