Ever watched that show "Quantum Leap"? How about the movie "Time Machine"?

[edit] ok, so you there's usually no spiral things that appear when this guy was being transported to the future... lol it's all in my head. I was probably dreaming about something else but then it made me think of it as time travel. Like I was going back to my childhood but I don't remember exactly what age I was and where. All I remember were these colors and shapes in fast motion.[/edit]
