Im mainly just practising on hair on this picture.. any suggestions.. besides using a bigger canves? lol

dont even start to belive the timer either.. i had to go do homework for a good chunk of the time.

or just a bigger head. doing little stuff is a bitch sometimes, pixels being square and all. oh and try lower opacity with the blend tool for dark base color, then set the color to a little lighter shade and higher opacity and so on. then as the final thing, do highlighted strands with flow set to 100, antialiased, and medium to low opacity with no blending. or just eat some candy.

Sometimes it is much easier to draw a picture when the reference photo is large, is of good quality and it has nice lighting. It is really a challenge to draw a small realistic portrait! I like the style you use and the girl is very cute! >:D
