They remind me of these Kodama forest spirits from the Princess Mononoke animated movie. They were like those Derrick Ewing draws, but with white bodies and black dots for eyes and mouth.

The Pincess mononoke movie was awesome, but those were forest spirits, or luck spirits, or some kind of spirit. I draw evil little blob demons that gaurd an ancient temple in the woods.

But of course! I just call them Cacodama. A Cacodemon is a demon too. >;)
