This canvas was originally meant for a drawing called "Puppy-Dog Eyes", depicting two gouged-out doggie eyeballs laying in a puddle of eye-goo(HAHA GET IT?)... But I soon found out eyeballs are hard to draw, especially sitting in goo. So, I opted to try my hand at perspective and vanishing lines. It resulted in a somewhat casual scene, pulling a good book up in front of a roaring fire in the lounging room of your summer cabin, with the trophies of victorious hunts(which you probably just bought at a pawn shop for eight bucks) hanging on the display wall.

This is warm and cozy. The book perspective is a little off-putting compared to the room. It seems an odd angle for a closed book standing upright someplace. If the book is being held up by an unseen reader, it should be open and then its perspective would fit. Not bad
