or hanging by a thread...

leaving tomorrow for my 'week in the beach house' vacation on a brownish greenish water maybe a few oil spills in view (Exxon employed my Daddy and fed me for most of my life so can't complain 'bout that part) Texas beach (lol) with long time friends and it comes not a moment too soon... figured if I didn't mention something about it at least one person here who has noticed I am obsessive compulsive about drawing here almost every day would think I had died or something when they don't see any pictures posted by me. I'm sure I'll be in major 2draw withdrawal by the time I get back. Have to throw some more bikinis and t-shirts in my suitcase and then I'll try to finish drawing this.

Looking totally awesome even unfinished. Here's wishing you the best time ever while you're at the 'beach house'. Get an extra layer of tan for 'me' while you're there.(I'm about as white as they come) I'll miss you a lot, but I'll be looking forward to what you'll come up with when you get back. You can do a pic of something that happened to ya...might make us feel like we were there...oughta be good no matter what...you should be all refreshed by then...right...RIGHT? LOL...

whatever you draw is wonderful...also have a wonderful time at the beach!, and as laurael says, bring us back a picture of your trip!

dunno if you'll see this before you leave, but have a good trip pretty lady. don't twist too many guy's heads off now, and have the decency to wear clothes when you're near traffic, as the alternative could result in some fender-benders. hope you come back refreshed. :]

whoa there's an echo in here... haha :) yes, you'll be missed, Cindy! I leave Mon. for my jellyfish infested vacation on the ocean... all I care about is the sound.... aaaahhhhh.... and the seaglass :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 8, 2004)
Thanks alot, ya'll. Don't know if I'll have time to finish this before I leave... maybe later this morning when I drink my coffee, I don't know. I'm gonna miss this place and you people. *Sob*

*plays violin music for DBA while she sobs* Sure, you'll miss everyone. You'll be lapping up the sun and frolicking in green/brown water and getting all sorts of inspiration for another set of images. Your vacation sure looked like fun in your beach pic. Have fun, DBA!

It isn't exactly like I wanted it... could've played with it a while longer but I've gotta go! See ya'll! :)

:) Very nice, DBA. Hope you have fun-filled week! We'll be lookin' forward to your return.
davincipoppalag (Jul 9, 2004)
Yay enjoy the week..my prediction is that by the end of the first day you will be drawing pictures in the sand with a stick! Get the old man to buy you a laptop so you can take 2draw with you on vacations ( I did! I would have been crazed if I had to go a week without it~) Great rope! You really did a great job on the fibrous texture! Good one

Wow, this is amazing, but then again, all your art is.
The detail in this is excelent.

Have a whole lotta fun this week DB and your picture turned out really neat with all the threads :)

Thanks ya'll.... I'm back! I didn't draw pictures in the sand, but I sculpted a fabulous mermaid out of sand with my best friend and my nieces... she was a total babe and she turned into a tourist attraction... ppl came from miles down the beach to see her and take pictures. (She was really comical, actually, seaweed hair and everything) I was afraid I'd have terrible 2-draw withdrawal, but was having so much fun I didn't think about it once till somebody got out a laptop last night and I had to just log on and see the welcome page.) lol
