there is a strong feeling of 3 dimensionality- a "depth of feild" as in a photograph- very impressive, perhaps the figures at the back could be even more blurred I dont know?

Really pretty DBA :) Woohoo, Texas! I love the colors in the clock and the shading
emmamommalag (May 31, 2004)
You must have the patience of a saint... those clock face details are perfect. I love the whole clock and the rest of the picture, too. Great job.
davincipoppalag (May 31, 2004)

This clock rocks. I have been wanting to do a clock, but can never get the numerals to look good. How did you get these so clear and clean?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 1, 2004)
I zoomed in, used the size one brush on a pretty high opacity, and then went back and used the eraser to clean up the edges. (The numbers are on a different layer than the clock face) It was really pretty easy.
davincipoppalag (Jun 1, 2004)
I still think that scrollwork on the clock body is amazing too.. more so than the numbers.. its great
Gigandas (Jun 1, 2004)
Whoa, kinda sticks out into your face there doesn't it :).That's some neat design on that clock too.You also brought it to life with the people walking by it :).
bumpinthenight (Jun 1, 2004)
theres one thats almost identical here in victoria, bc, canada.... at hillside mall... XD

The blurriness of everything but the top of the clock makes it seem very three dimensional. Cool picture for sure.

clock dem hoes! hehehe no don't clock dem hoes!~~~
this reminds me of oekaki-shi because it's all fuzzy and cool
ShadowKitten (Jun 2, 2004)
i think its cool how the clock is emphasized because the background is blurry
Kasha (edited Jun 2, 2004)
cool, where exactly is this at? I've seen one in Houston at Bank Of America in downtown. I used to see it all the time when I would wait for my mom to get out of the elevators. Except the one in the bank has this lil door in the base of it and I would always imagine a lil goblin makes the clock go tick tock. Nice work. :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 2, 2004)
This one is in Houston in The Plaza. There is a door in the back of it and there is an oil refinery grease monkey monster that operates the clock. lol
