Very complicated features, red-headed porcelain skin tones, whew... Lori is lovely and very difficult to paint.

Well, It's not perfect, it's not as pretty as she is, but after staring at her photograph for so long I decided the most important thing to try to capture was that spunky look in her eyes. (lol) I think I kinda got that in here.

I don't know, Lori, is it finished? (I am envious of your hair, btw)

It's a good thing she asked you to do it because this turned out incredible!You're right, she is pretty.I like what you did with the hair a lot.You also managed to capture tiny details especially in the shirt.Very nice work DBA, as always :).....in fact, it inspires me in wanting to draw my self portrait sometime soon too....

I keep looking over your work and trying to learn from it. Your talent is so amazing, I'm having major trouble making something look real. Looking at your gallery, I notice you aren't using a lot of tones. Can't figure it out but sure would love to get to this point.
