Iraqi regime hunting time! So how many of you have family or friends in Iraq fighting?
marcello (Dec 3, 2003)
millions of iraqis do.

Indeed, Marcello. As well as several other countries with several other problems.

The picture is finished? Are you sure? Well, to me it seems the lineart is a bit messy - perhaps you could do sketchy lines first like that, then go over it with a smoother line on a seperate layer?

I don't really understand what you were trying to do with the coloring/shading. On the arms it looks like your light source was coming from the top right, but the rest of it is crazay wild! lol. Maybe you could put a dot where your light source is coming from, and draw lines from it to your figure to see where it would hit and where it would not.

There are some anatomy problems, but you could just say that it's a bulky/baggy jacket and pants. I'm still learning how to draw males so I'm certainly not the best judge at that.

His hands are different colors than his face but those could be gloves. The background looks incredibly simplistic, somewhat akin to a childs coloring book. Details are good for a picture, in my opinion, they make it stand out more. They show that you actually care about what you are creating.

I rarely critique unless I'm certain I know what I'm talking about. I hope this helps. (This is certainly one of my longests comments ever...)

Starting to work on the suggestions Vamp gave me. Marcello, can you set this to unfinished?
Coolsoft (Dec 5, 2003)
actually in case you didn't know you can set it to unfinished... just clikc the edit link on the right....(or have you figured it out already?)
marcello (Dec 5, 2003)
if you set something to finished you can't set it back to unfinished unless you're a mod.
