Wow, you are learning a lot about texturing. Amazing work. So far, I keep turning my head to make this a floor.
Miss_DJ (Jan 11, 2010)
OOOOOO...really nice, Flubbles
firecracker (Jan 13, 2010)
"Flubadub".....I thought you didn't like using the texture tool......you always tell me that my draws would be better if I didn't texturize them, but it looks like you used the texture tool a lot in this draw, and it really looks "great"!!!! Sooo.....why do you tell me not to "texturize"!!?????? :P
Suntan (edited Jan 13, 2010)
If that has anything to do with my comment about texturing, I wasn't referring to the texture tools. I was talking about the application and movement of color to create mottled stone affect.
firecracker (Jan 13, 2010)
Yeah suntan.....your comment about texturizing made me think that flubadub used the texture tools to get the effect on this pic.....I didn't realize that you meant that he used the application and movement of color to create this textured look.. So sorry flubadub.....I guess I was wrong about you using the texture tool. I wish I could learn how to get this kind of effect by applying and moving color around.....then I wouldn't be so inclined to use the texture tool to try and get this type of effect. Anyways.....I think this is a great draw!! :)
Flubbles (Jan 13, 2010)
Some pictures warrent the use of texture tools, the trick is to hide the fact your'e using them as well as possible so it's not so blatently obvious.
Suntan (Jan 19, 2010)
More, please. I want to see where this is going.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 4, 2010)
This is way cool so far.

This makes me think of a subway station...:)

I love your subtle use of pinks, blues and greens in the marble. My favourite part of the drawing is that upper lefthand corner where the light reflects a dull sheen on the stone. Excellent shadows, too.

Have you been watching the series called 'Luther'? I'm so pissed they killed off Indira's character! buggers.
Flubbles (edited Jun 16, 2010)
I wanted to watch it but it clashed with two other shows I watch at the same time. I thought his accent in the american show the wire was great, you would never think he was english. There was a drama you might like here recently called father & son, but it was on ITV so I'm not sure you'll get it over there.

This is really good, you know. I still keep trying to make it a floor, but I see it's a wall. I looked for a while though.
