is so smart, if he had opposible thumbs, he could drive your SUV. One of my all-time favourite clients, he's a retired avalanche rescue dog and the best Frisbee player I've ever met. photos of Geordie

And wouldn't the house of Dior hate having their stupid bubble dress called 'stereotypical'?
davincipoppalag (Oct 9, 2010)

dorothyblueeyes (Oct 10, 2010)
Great, but problem is,you cannot get too wild, for real fashion to not one-up you.Like, this is great, but they really ARE THIS BAD. I should know,I get both "Vogue" and "Harper's Bazaar".
elly (Oct 10, 2010)

who I think would look like this.
Teapot (Aug 31, 2010)
The first time wasn't really a painting of you, per se. I just thought the image kind of fit your personality. I went to SketchFu and Doodlebug but I never found an image of you that I can recall. Though, now I think of it, I seem to remember a really small and kind of blurry one. It's not there now. And the one on SketchFu is just your toes. I dunno, Sunny. I think you should have red hair. ;-P
Moosh (Aug 31, 2010)
lovely work!
Roytje (Sep 5, 2010)
The red hair against the green backgound is so delicious.
TeZzeR (Oct 9, 2010)

When you've got red patten leather shoes, a white fedora and a full-length ermine coat to announce your..erm...profession?I'm not going to leave this one in the contest but I had so many ideas I wanted to try.
Miss_DJ (Oct 2, 2010)
I like this..perfect stereotype. Tough job..tsk tsk.
padmooks (Oct 4, 2010)
Only one entry please, please choose which one youde like judged.
Teapot (Oct 4, 2010)
I tried to delete this but I'd waited too long and the delete option was no longer available. Enjoy said she'd move them but I don't really want to keep it. So, if you wouldn't mind, please hit the kill switch.
marcello (Oct 4, 2010)

is what Zep looks like.
Suntan (Sep 11, 2010)
Congrats, Teapot! Just fantastic! :)
Pantera (Sep 11, 2010)
Well done, congratulations :)
Teapot (edited Sep 14, 2010)
Thanks all for your kind words. I'm entirely astonished that I placed in this contest, there were so many great entries. Lori, why would you be 'sorry' that Zep looks better than I imagine him to look? Besides loving Zep's work I wanted to draw a picture manifesting my mental image of a perceived personality--generous, kind, beneficent...one who would never go out of his way to say something mean-spirited to another artist. From the way he has always presented himself here, that's how I imagine him.
Miss_DJ (Sep 13, 2010)
Congratulations, Teapot! Handsome draw!! |

was 55 when, astride her horse, she watched the British Navy defeat the Spanish Armada. Cate Blanchett was in her 30's when she did the movie. This is really frustrating because every couple of minutes the drawing tools just stop working for about 10 seconds. I don't know if it's my computer or what but it sure makes drawing a pain in the butt. The real QE1 was swarthy with reddish hair and brown eyes, a hooked nose and thin lips. Here's a link to the ref photo.
itchymonkey (May 25, 2010)
good to see you persist with this, well worth the effort.
Suntan (Aug 10, 2010)

Teapot (Aug 8, 2010)
I find that comment so offensive. I wish an admin would come along and remove it.
Flubbles (Aug 8, 2010)
I find it strange because what harm could this poosably do to children.
Suntan (Aug 11, 2010)
The beauty of the work and the woman speaks for itself..*stupid remark.* |

I hate not finishing things but I'm finding this too tedious and fussy. It's not where I want to be. I'm done.
Marla (Jul 2, 2010)
amazing
Teapot (Jul 3, 2010)
Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment. Now I want to get a big palette knife and some thick paint and make a picture with textures so thick you could trip over the strokes.
firecracker (Jul 4, 2010)
Never heard of this guy......but it's really an awesome draw!! :)
montezmaria (Jul 6, 2010)
The facial features right down to all the freckles is outstanding. |
