Whoa... That's trippy. How'd you do it? Especially the Celtic-knot-like shape in the hair, that's really cool...

I was wondering if anyone had any digital art that isn't Oekaki that they wanted to share? I thought it would be interesting. What.

I met you out in the garden.
You were digging plants, I told you "beg you're pardon"

Now it's smooth and exuberant, and still happy! Not "another sunny day" today, It rained a little bit, but I'm just thankful it wasn't a lot. Somebody needs to close the sky and pull the plug on the lake here... * glub, glub* :)

I love this painting.
psychofox0 (Jul 8, 2007)
this is really good. Her smile kinda scares me, but I like the expression.
fleeting_memory (Jul 9, 2007)
I love the granulated feeling of the shading. Awesome.
Morggey (Jul 9, 2007)
Ah... I was hoping to see this finished! Both your revisions already captured the emotion so well. I love how you left the shading grainy, like an old photograph. It looks great! There are a couple of spots that seem rougher than the rest around the bottom and edges of her nose. Other than that, it's a very lovely picture. Kudos. =)

I read a thread about how there building a giant partical accelerator in Switzerland. Some people are predicting blackholes and all sorts of armaggedon things. I wonder what it will look like when particles crash into each other at near light speed, with a microscopic camera.

Cool exploration of that idea kayos!
Sweetcell (Jul 7, 2007)
OOo, ooo, oooo.... this is such coolness.
The end of the world, yayyyy,

Seriously lovely atom Kay.

Yeah, and my boyfriend's dad is gonna be doing some of those experiments! Heh.
Really cool... I love all the detail in the sparks and the contrast between the oranges and blues... Like fire, I guess, with black to make it mysterious. =) Love the circular shape of the canvas, too... Just like the circular particle collider! ;D

Yummy!

I like how you created such texture with so few colors, especially on the crust and the whipped cream. Very cool. :D
fleeting_memory (Jul 9, 2007)
oooo looks like clipart-cool.
Sweetcell (Jul 10, 2007)
It's bursting with flavor. My mom made some of the best cherry pie. And apple, and rubarb, and blueberry.....

It does look like clipart.

thanks....just white and black lines over each other
Morggey (edited Jul 8, 2007)
I really like it, especially the circular lines on her stomach! :D This reminds me of linocuts, definitely! (I made a horsie one in elementary school art class. xD) Does her left breast have light blue on it...?
Sweetcell (Jul 10, 2007)
Linocut's, blockprinting, it definately has that feel. Verry in-te-res-ting.
Roytje (Jul 12, 2007)

Haha, very original concept! I like the art-deco outside-the-lines feel. Nice work for the time, too!

Wow... Lovely. The coat fabric looks real, and it's designed so well! Did you use a reference or design it yourself? Anyway, the perspective and lighting effects are just amazing, though I am having a hard time figuring out where the lightsource(s) is/are. Still. Beautiful piece. The bare white background even adds to it, giving it that harsh lighting effect!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 7, 2007)
Who needs a face when you have Italian leather and... are those about 13 mm Tahitian pearls? Great picture.
Anna (Jul 9, 2007)
i like this lots!
