I felt green like that when I had way too many margaritas before. (I guess tequila made her clothes fall off, too?) lol I think the background you have is perfect for the subject, it doesn't take anything away from her.

you always have amazing drawings.... this is no exception

My sister's favorite color is green. She still looked real pretty! |

I'm running away to different city for a few days. I don't really know where but I'm leaving and I hope there is a chance that I can come back to my home. Most likey, where I live, we'll get little or no damage by Rita but they are 100% percent our light and water is being cut off. I'm really gonna miss my friends and family. I hope the boba tea place will be saved. Just what am I gonna do without the INTERNETZ?! wish me luck.

nekodesu (Aug 29, 2005)
oooh...Redness. It's very strange looking but I love it :)
Nightmare (Aug 29, 2005)
Looks almost as if it is a cross breed of a plant and some animal, with the eyes and all. The 'dog' in the lower left corner looks more of a leaf to me, with a eye. Either way, very appealing to the eyes.:3

You're awesome. :) |

the horror of it
laurael (Sep 12, 2005)
You do what I do, Cindy...whenever I see something that draws strong emotions from me, I want to draw it. Maybe the mother was a mental prisoner? I know of men who threaten their women with torture and death if they go against them.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 20, 2005)
I think it was a movie poster Miss DJ, but thanks so much. laurael, you're right, and yes, I think she was, but I still don't understand it because there isn't anything a man could threaten me with that would make me allow him to hurt one of my children. I'd die a thousand deaths first.
Miss_DJ (edited Sep 20, 2005)
you wouldn't even do that to a dog...unspeakable horror for a living human being. This is drawn perfectly and captures the insidiousness of her situation.

what a haunting image! This is a very powerful piece. Great job as always! |

While spending a cool, fall day bicycling on the paths in the forest, you come across a clearing in the woods that is recessed down into a ravine. You lean your touring bike on a tree by the side of the road becasue the path down would be better handled by foot. When you reach the bottom, you find that this place is enchanted; it appears to contain new breeds of creature! You realize that this land has given you the power of creator- as you think it, it becomes! This power is so much fun...

Jackson Pollock is advertised as the most important American artist of the 20th century, who projecting the imprint of philosophy, art history, and the human experience into visual form, incorporated both chance and control while painting with a physical immediacy and gesture. The videoclip, titled Fellow Drippers, formulates alternative approach to understanding Jackson Pollock.
