Actually, I see some shading there. It's not bad, gothic, but maybe make the shading stand out a little more? Just a suggestion, I'm terrible at shading. I'd have to agree about the portrait one though...er...

either you have hairy eyes, or your hair is made of cones and rods. For a self portrait, i think you could have spent more time on it. also, i don't know if you were going for realism, but if you were, remember that things in real life don't have black outlines.

oooh that looks a lot like him! How about .......an Japanesde temple or somethin surrounded by those trees with pink flowers in them......and then a river running by it. I don't have anything against trees that have pink flowers in them. Even tho I don't like pink.

Is ketchup bad and mayo good, or vice versa? Personally I'd think mayo would be evil; mayo IS evil. It ruins everything.

I'm not seeing how she's really fat, but whatever.

Having looked at the animation, I can say that you should try drawing lineart first, then coloring it in. As it is, it looks like it was put together piece by piece rather than done with the result in mind. It could use some shading, as well.
