Ahhh, the sky is lovely and the silhouette nice and clear.. you're getting better all the time. Great pic. :)
Northern_shadow (May 13, 2004)
Wow, this`s really nice but where`s wolfs other back leg
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 13, 2004)
Directly opposite the forefront one. They are together - I used a reference photograph of an actual wolf to get the proportions right and you can't see both legs.
Gigandas (May 13, 2004)
Another nice pic DBA :).The sky reminds me of a painting I watched Bob Ross paint on TV earlier today(or I guess it's yesterday now considering the time ^^;).Hmmm.....that's pretty amazing how the legs ended up 'exactly' one on top of the other. It does sort of look like it's 3-legged.I bet the ref picture would even look that way^^;.Not that it's bad or anything, just kinda interesting XD.Anyways, nice job once again :).

wonderful water and action pic. Makes me want to go to a tropical paradise. I love all of your recent stuff.
Aubrey (May 13, 2004)
Wonder how much it would take to move that beach to Ohio!! I think it's well worth the cost! Yay! Really cool picture and nice effect with the water Cindy :-D
Pandora (May 14, 2004)
I can feel the fall, the build up of the waves is dramatic and his body position looks difficult to draw and so real like.

hehe the suicidal king-yeah very nice job on the card. Is the person supposed to be a little kid wearing a hat too big for him? Cause if it isn't then the chouldaer are kinda small
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 10, 2004)
You can only see his collar. All of his shoulders aren't in the pic. :)
Kasha (May 10, 2004)

Yeah, the reflection and the ripples can get pretty tricky, but that's what makes it fun. Fleeting, the ripples are coming above the water on the far side, this swan is bookin' it and those are like little waves. :)
fleeting_memory (May 7, 2004)
ooo cool! Swan drag races!
davincipoppalag (May 7, 2004)
Swans in drag??? Omg.. Lock XOD up....
Supergurl103 (May 11, 2004)

hey i was doing the twist last night at my mom and stepdad's reception last night :D..but seriously cool picture :) i like those cars it looks like the pic is set in the fifties (they did the twist back then right?)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 9, 2004)
Well, yeah, actually this is kind of early sixties I guess. They were twisting then and twisting again in the 60's. I was born in the mid 60's so alot of these cars were still driving around when I was little and I have always loved them. :)
thug (May 12, 2004)
this is my favorite of your most recent art. That looks just like the neighborhood I lived in until I turned 3. We go back there sometimes and it still looks like this, only without the classic cars. Never got a tornado but my dad burned up the back yard accidently once. Ahhh, reminiscing about the good old days... I can still feel the ashes burning my eyes.

Adelie Penguin Party :) - Just thought these little guys were so cute. Each one seemed to have it's own distinct shape, posture and even personality. Reference from a magazine photograph accompanying an article about the decline of the Adelie Penguin population in Antartica.

The idea for this was inspired by a cool pic in the cd booklet for Audioslave... I kinda made the map up, that stuff is here, but I put stuff where I felt like putting it. :)

Pandora (Apr 29, 2004)
Crazy me..when I first read the description I thought it was an alien running. Now look what I'm saying before I look like a total nut. haha It looks like someone is running with a candle in hand his elbow is where the thumbnail is and hes running with some kind of pouch. Oh wake up Pandora , look again. haha I see it now. Either way it's fantastic DBA.
dixielandcutie (Apr 30, 2004)

This i beautiful. I like the rendering of the water and foilage it really stands out. The reflective glow on the water is very good. Great job.( Ido think some of the flames in the fire are a little too stiff though, too geometric).
Knockoff (Apr 28, 2004)
This is awesome dba! I love the fire, it looks so real. It reminds me when I went out west.
The animals and detail are wonderful.!(esp the grass)
T-SLA (May 18, 2004)
jajajajaja, yes... the same reference, but yours look.... *_____* great...
snow_child (edited May 22, 2004)
the origonal picture isn't from montana! its from the okanogan, i know because i live here in peachland. i watched the whole thing with my very own eyes. it's in a book, all over the internet too. i'm sure it's from where i live up in canada if you can believe it
