this reminds me of oekaki-shi because it's all fuzzy and cool
ShadowKitten (Jun 2, 2004)
i think its cool how the clock is emphasized because the background is blurry
Kasha (edited Jun 2, 2004)
cool, where exactly is this at? I've seen one in Houston at Bank Of America in downtown. I used to see it all the time when I would wait for my mom to get out of the elevators. Except the one in the bank has this lil door in the base of it and I would always imagine a lil goblin makes the clock go tick tock. Nice work. :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 2, 2004)
This one is in Houston in The Plaza. There is a door in the back of it and there is an oil refinery grease monkey monster that operates the clock. lol

Chocobo: Did I hear you right? A race?
Tonberry: uhhuh
Chocobo: Well, if you are sure.
Tonberry: . . . one step forward . . .
Chocobo: last chance to back out and save your reputation
Tonberry: . . . one step forward . . .
Chocobo: All right, you're on.
Tonberry: uhhuh.
Chef Knife: click-clack
Chocobo: (muttering) I'm gonna make him suffer.
Tonberry: (muttering) Chicky will never know what hit him.

Hey there Mr. Jimsan!! This is a really great picture, nice indeed :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 31, 2004)
I didn't mean the picture's not perfect, Supergurl, we were talking about the country not being perfect. I think the picture's probably closer to perfect. lol :D

Dragon Breath Mints -- check. Romantic atmosphere -- present. Shiny jewelry -- ready. Mr. Toad is all ready to be kissed. Bashful and cute maidens, form a line to the left of the sign. Who wants to go first?

I'm so jealous of anyone who has seen Shrek 2. I wanna see it soooo bad. The first one was hilarious... *sigh* someday I'll get to see number 2.. someday...
Anyhoo, this is a very imaginative picture (as are all of yours) You have a wonderful way of coloring.
bumpinthenight (May 28, 2004)

This one is for my little brother, Trooper "Spark Plug" Cole.
Remember, while searching a vehicle for drugs to be cautious of apple dumplings in subject's purse. The crack is probably under the car, not in it, anyway. And beware, girls, the drug dog will bite your baby on the ass if you hide the drugs in his diaper. :)

Oh thanks, Icats... I wondered if I should do that dew path, I thought some people might think it was a misplaced shadow. And LOL Childlike... that was hilarious (there are ppl that really do that, and the drug dogs don't really bite the babies, Dino, but there's no law against cops telling the crack-whore Moms that they will.... lol...)

edit: Lori: I used to, when I painted alot... usually at showings or art competitions ppl would just offer to buy them, and I was commissioned to do some, but not lately. I may never paint again for real because I love this applet stuff... LOL Now if we can just find a way to go POOF it's on canvas that would be heavenly.
LovelyLori (May 24, 2004)
wouldn't it? I agree... :)
davincipoppalag (May 27, 2004)
When I got up today, I turned on the news and there on the screen was a picture almost identical to this.. I thought they were broadcasting this! Turns out it was an investigation of a shooting in New Haven, but I swear I thought I was seeing this!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 27, 2004)
Yes, I had a premonition.... but I knew you'd think I was crazy if I told you.... lol just kidding. :)

Aubrey - Eh, who cares right, I feel like an ass for pointing it out...eh, but I did it for your benefit Aubrey, so it's Icats talent you see now and not Kasha's.
Aubrey (May 23, 2004)
No no I appreciate you pointing it out. I feel like an idiot for getting it wrong in the first place! lol I'm sorry Icats.. you have alotta talent for sure :)
bumpinthenight (May 24, 2004)
The eyes have to be the best part of this picture... Quite lifelike, if you ask me! Did this come from a picture?

hey i was doing the twist last night at my mom and stepdad's reception last night :D..but seriously cool picture :) i like those cars it looks like the pic is set in the fifties (they did the twist back then right?)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 9, 2004)
Well, yeah, actually this is kind of early sixties I guess. They were twisting then and twisting again in the 60's. I was born in the mid 60's so alot of these cars were still driving around when I was little and I have always loved them. :)
thug (May 12, 2004)
this is my favorite of your most recent art. That looks just like the neighborhood I lived in until I turned 3. We go back there sometimes and it still looks like this, only without the classic cars. Never got a tornado but my dad burned up the back yard accidently once. Ahhh, reminiscing about the good old days... I can still feel the ashes burning my eyes.

At the very beginning of WWII they still wore the "tommy" style helmets . The GI Joe ones didnt come out until a bit later.
Aubrey (May 22, 2004)
This is really excellent Cindy. The perspective is great and everything that everyone else mentioned that makes it that way :) It's action standing still.. just great.

This i beautiful. I like the rendering of the water and foilage it really stands out. The reflective glow on the water is very good. Great job.( Ido think some of the flames in the fire are a little too stiff though, too geometric).
Knockoff (Apr 28, 2004)
This is awesome dba! I love the fire, it looks so real. It reminds me when I went out west.
The animals and detail are wonderful.!(esp the grass)
T-SLA (May 18, 2004)
