Remember the 2draw Art Book Project? Due to lots of drama in the 2draw.net team, the project has been delayed, but we are happy to announce development is well underway, and as a small apology to those who have been waiting, we are opening nominations again to ensure we get some of awesome new work that has happened since gets a chance at being in the 2draw.net Art Book Project.

What is this project, you ask? Well, it is a book! Full-color, hard-cover, high-quality book like you'd find in any nice bookstore.

And what's in this book? Art from 2draw.net! Over the next two weeks we will be selecting artwork from the entire archive of 2draw.net drawings to be included in the book. And you get to help!

How can you help? Nominate drawings for inclusion in the book! This is your chance to immortalize the 2draw.net drawings you love on the pristine printed page like never before.

Leading this project is the ever beautiful spyra who will be taking your nominations.

The deadline for nominations is two weeks from now: Wednesday, April 16th at 11:59pm PDT.

Submit your nominations to spyra via memo. Include the URL to each image page. Nominate as many people as you want. The more the merrier!

A couple notes:
- You cannot nominate yourself. So make some friends. And we know when you register multiple accounts, so do not even think about it.
- We cannot print images that use copyrighted material (for example, a photo you do not have the rights to).
- Feel free to draw something specifically for the book, but we will not wait for you.

Weee! It's time for everyone to take a trip back through all the stuff on 2draw.net. A good way to do this might be to look up your favorite users' galleries.

There's also the new 2draw search feature in the upper right to check out.

I nominated some drawings a couple of months ago, do they still count?

The search feature is the coolest. Makes the change worth it.

all previous nominations have been looked through and considered. we're just opening up the floor again for 1) images that have been submitted since the last nomination, 2) any images you may have forgotten that you still think should be included!

any image is fair game! multiple nominations on the same drawing may or may not increase its chances of getting in the book.

axil: glad you like it. it could be better (for example, images in the search results), but hey, it was free and I didn't have to do much work to get it setup.

The biggest flaw in that search feature is your (my) own brain. What the heck was that or that piccy called. :D.

you only need to remember a few words from the page, the artist's name, or even someone's comment on the picture and it should at least help find it...

Damn. Was too busy filing taxes to nominate any pictures.

we'll take a few more nominations today/maybe tomorrow. we plan on going to the printers on monday.

When the books are printed could we include them as a contest prise for the next 2-3 contests after the books are out? I'd really think a lot more entries would be made for the contests.

The fact of the matter is that I'm obsessed with you. Ever since I started driving 550miles to peer into your window through the bushes, I knew what I had to do.

I'm still not sure what to do with the entry form. Download it on paint? Fill it out, upload to here?
