Do we have access to a list of members to look for people we know? If so, where is it?

There used to be one called directory but I dont see that here now

When you click on your name and it brings you to your profile here, it says users up by your name in the upper left corner

Click on your own name.. when the page opens up on the top left column to the left of your name will be "USERS" click that and the directory pops open Xina bgcm? I dont

I'm going to the directory page and not seeing bgcm anywhere in any form. I think you people are messing with me.

(bgcm) is after EVERYONES name - don't know were you are looking but right now I see it after your name on your comment above this one. It makes me wonder what it means, and if everybody has it - what is it's purpose?

This is what you should be seeing. If you're not, then either there's a bug in the site that decided to pick on you and only you, or you're crazy (I mean maybe it's your computer). I really don't know.

in response to the original question, how did/do you use the user directory? can you walk me through the task you are trying to achieve, and the steps you use to get there?

I use it to find users from another drawing program who I know have galleries on this site. Lori pointed me in the right direction - click on my name, click on users and there they all are! No problem. I got sidetracked by the (bgcm) but it's gone now so everything is hunky-dory. Thanks

i dunno, we have our own wiki. seems strange that we have a google box instead of our own.

i dunno, in retrospect it seems like a stupid thing to say.

Hey thanks Marcello. That's a lot easier than wading through the thousands of names in the directory! I hadn't noticed the google box - it looks like a faded add for google - not a search box to type in.
